On the occasion of "EUROGAMES 2015, which were held in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku from 12th to 28th of June 2015, noise barriers with a total length of 520 m were positioned around the adjacent residential areas due to a high expected volume of traffic. These noise protection syystems were constructed by KOHLHAUER® in cooperation with our client, MZ-Autobahn Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H, located in D-53560 Vettelschoß and our international construction partners in an extremely rapid time of only 5 weeks.

ALUFERA Used For Dutch Residential Areas

Noise reductions in the "Nijenoord Allee" residential areas in the Dutch Wageningen County that had been planned since 2013, has now been completed on behalf of the local government in the last few weeks. 1,780 m² of highly absorbent KOHLHAUER ALUFERA® noise protection elements were successfully installed and are now providing an improved living environment for people residing along the busy road. The ALUFERA elements were implemented at a length of up to 6.0 m.
Turbo roundabout provides A4 on-ramp and new B88

After three years of construction, the large-scale "B88 Turbo Roundabout" project was finalised in late 2013 and opened to four-lane traffic.
The new raised roundabout near Jena-Maua acts as a motorway junction, providing an on-ramp to the A4 autobahn and the four-lane B88 which runs below it. It is aimed at speeding up entry onto the autobahn.
