ALUFERA Used For Dutch Residential Areas

Noise reductions in the "Nijenoord Allee" residential areas in the Dutch Wageningen County that had been planned since 2013, has now been completed on behalf of the local government in the last few weeks. 1,780 m² of highly absorbent KOHLHAUER ALUFERA® noise protection elements were successfully installed and are now providing an improved living environment for people residing along the busy road. The ALUFERA elements were implemented at a length of up to 6.0 m.

Project closure in "Unterschleißheim | Germany": An impressive 14 meter high noise barrier was built here. 12 meters of the barrier were produced out of silicate glass in a frame-solution, which comes from KOHLHAUER. The lower 2 meters of the noise barrier are sound absorbent, the upper 12 meters are sound reflecting. The steel structure and the construction was made by our partner "Josef Pfaffinger, Germany".
GREEN NOISE BARRIER SOLUTION AT FRANKFURT'S PALM GARDENS

Large cities are increasingly struggling under the pressure of ever-rising noise pollution and CO2 and particulate matter emissions caused by the ever-growing amount of traffic on their roads; Frankfurt's Miquelallee, which runs along the Frankfurt botanical gardens' palm garden is no exception. A very environmentally sustainable measure to take to fight this problem are "green" noise barriers, such as the highly absorbent noise barrier system KOHLHAUER PLANTA® which has been installed on both sides of the barrier seen here.
Turbo roundabout provides A4 on-ramp and new B88

After three years of construction, the large-scale "B88 Turbo Roundabout" project was finalised in late 2013 and opened to four-lane traffic.
The new raised roundabout near Jena-Maua acts as a motorway junction, providing an on-ramp to the A4 autobahn and the four-lane B88 which runs below it. It is aimed at speeding up entry onto the autobahn.
